First seen Feb 20, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study looks at two different exercise programs done before ACL surgery to see which one helps people regain knee strength and muscle size more effectively. About 84 adults with a first-time ACL injury will take part in a 9-week program. One group does focused strength training, while the other does standard rehab exercises. The goal is to find the best way to prepare the knee for surgery and improve recovery.
