Daily pill trial aims to soothe Kids' burning chests

Summary
This study is testing if a daily acid-reducing medicine called dexlansoprazole can heal and keep healed the damage caused by stomach acid in children's food pipes. It involves about 76 children aged 2 to 11 who have this acid damage. Kids take the medicine daily for up to 24 weeks, and doctors check the healing with a camera test.
