Move it or lose it? study tests early movement for torn achilles
NCT ID NCT02308618
Summary
This study compared two different rehab programs for men recovering from a surgically repaired torn Achilles tendon. It tested whether starting gentle movement exercises early was better than the traditional method of keeping the leg in a cast for 45 days. Researchers measured muscle strength, ankle flexibility, and tendon healing to see which approach led to a better recovery.
