First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study followed 60 people with an Achilles tendon rupture for one year to see how the tendon and calf muscles recover. Researchers used ultrasound scans, strength tests, and questionnaires to track changes at several points after the injury. The goal was to better understand the healing process, not to test a new treatment.
