New hope for stroke survivors struggling with balance?

Summary
This study is testing whether a medication called acetyl-leucine can improve balance and reduce unsteadiness (ataxia) in people who have had a specific type of stroke affecting the back of the brain. It will involve 200 participants who will take either the real medication or a placebo (a dummy pill) daily for three months. Researchers will measure changes in balance, walking stability, and overall disability to see if the treatment is safe and helpful.
