Summary

This early-phase trial is testing whether adding acetazolamide (a drug that blocks carbonic anhydrase) to standard chemotherapy and radiation or immunotherapy can help treat small cell lung cancer. About 27 adults with either localized or extensive small cell lung cancer will take part. The main goal is to find the safest dose and check for side effects.
