Summary

This study tested two different doses of acetazolamide, a drug that helps stabilize breathing, in 91 adults with moderate to severe obstructive sleep apnea. The goal was to see which dose better reduces the number of breathing pauses during sleep. Participants took the drug or a placebo for a short time, and their sleep apnea severity was measured before and after treatment.
