Common pain reliever tested as potential aid for MS walking fatigue

NCT ID NCT07440446

Summary

This study is testing whether acetaminophen (the active ingredient in Tylenol) can help people with multiple sclerosis walk longer distances before getting tired. Researchers think the medication might help by slightly lowering body temperature, which could reduce heat sensitivity that worsens MS fatigue. Twenty participants will walk on a treadmill after taking either acetaminophen or a placebo, then switch treatments a week later to compare results.
