Doctors test new roadmap for complex hip fracture surgeries
NCT ID NCT06338228
Summary
This study tested a new decision-making guide (a 'decision tree') to help surgeons choose the best treatment for complex fractures of the hip socket (acetabulum). Researchers followed 250 adult patients at a major French trauma center to see if using this guide led to better patient-reported outcomes and fewer complications. The goal was to gather better evidence to improve care for these challenging injuries.
