Two drugs better than one? new hope for tiniest Babies' hearts

NCT ID NCT05340582

Summary

This study aims to see if giving two common pain/fever medicines together works better than one alone to treat a heart blood vessel that fails to close after birth in extremely premature infants. It will enroll 310 babies born before 27 weeks. The goal is to improve survival and reduce severe lung disease by closing the vessel more effectively.
