Pill shows promise for reducing debilitating arm swelling

NCT ID NCT05203835

Summary

This study is testing whether an oral medication called acebilustat can reduce swelling and improve skin health in people with long-term arm lymphedema. 40 participants will take either the study drug or a placebo pill for 9 months, without knowing which one they receive. Researchers will measure changes in arm size, skin thickness, and quality of life to see if the treatment helps control this chronic condition.
