NCT ID NCT05699564

First seen Apr 29, 2026 · Last updated Jun 19, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study looks at whether doing early blood tests (biomarkers) and giving structured feedback to doctors can improve care for patients with rapid breathing (tachypnea). About 574 adults admitted to the hospital with a breathing rate of 20 or more breaths per minute are included. The goal is to see if this approach reduces the chance of being readmitted or dying after leaving the hospital.
