First seen Apr 29, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study looks at whether measuring certain blood markers early and giving structured feedback to doctors can help patients hospitalized with rapid breathing (tachypnea). About 574 adults will be randomly assigned to either receive this early testing or standard care. The goal is to see if this approach reduces the chance of being readmitted or dying after leaving the hospital.
