New study aims to close kidney transplant gap for minorities

Summary

This study compares two approaches to help Hispanic/Latino and American Indian patients with kidney failure complete transplant evaluation and receive a kidney transplant. About 376 adults at the University of New Mexico will take part. The goal is to find which method works best to reduce racial disparities in transplant access.
