NCT ID NCT06003036

First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study tests whether a type of brain stimulation called accelerated TMS can improve thinking and memory in 30 adults with schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder who are already taking the medication clozapine. Participants will receive both real and fake (sham) stimulation in a random order, and researchers will use brain scans to measure changes in brain activity. The goal is to see if this non-invasive treatment can help with cognitive problems that often persist despite medication.
