First seen Nov 11, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study is testing whether a stronger version of a non-invasive brain stimulation technique, called tDCS, is safe for people with major depression. About 20 adults will receive mild electrical pulses through electrodes on their scalp over 5 days. Researchers will monitor side effects and mood changes to see if this higher dose is tolerable.
