Targeted radiation tested for Tough-to-Treat cancer

NCT ID NCT06322576

Summary

This study aimed to test a targeted radiation treatment called 177Lu-PSMA for people with advanced adenoid cystic carcinoma, a rare salivary gland cancer that has spread or returned. The first part planned to see how the drug traveled in the body in 10 participants. If successful, a second part would have tested if the treatment could shrink tumors. The study was terminated early after enrolling only one person.
