First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated Jun 23, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study tests whether a natural nasal spray (Puressentiel Allergy Protection) can ease symptoms of dust mite allergic rhinitis. Twenty adults will receive either the spray or a saline placebo before a nasal allergy challenge, then switch treatments two weeks later. The goal is to see if the spray offers a non-drug option for symptom relief.

What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
Puressentiel Allergy Protection Nasal Spray (SNPA)
What this could lead to
If it works, this could offer a natural, non-drug option to ease symptoms of dust mite allergic rhinitis.
What could go wrong
This is a very small early study with only 20 people, and no individual benefit is expected. The spray may not work better than a saline placebo.
