NCT ID NCT07279116

First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This early-phase trial tests a fluorescent dye called ABY-029 that makes cancer cells glow during surgery. The goal is to find the right dose so surgeons can better see and remove head and neck tumors. About 24 adults with operable head and neck cancer will receive a tiny amount of the dye before surgery. Researchers will check safety and how well the dye highlights cancer tissue compared to healthy tissue.
