First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study tests an experimental drug called ABP-671 in 80 adults with chronic kidney disease and high uric acid levels. Participants will receive either the drug or a placebo for 40 weeks to see if it reduces protein in the urine, a sign of kidney damage. The goal is to slow kidney disease progression, not cure it.
