Summary
This study tested a special mapping system and catheters to treat a type of irregular heartbeat called paroxysmal atrial fibrillation (AFib). 415 people who had never had this procedure before took part. The goal was to see if the system could safely and effectively stop AFib episodes for at least 12 months after the procedure.
