First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study compares a new pacing method (His bundle pacing) to the standard right ventricular pacing in 100 adults with atrial fibrillation and heart failure who need AV node ablation. The goal is to see if the new method improves walking distance, daily activity, and quality of life more than the standard approach. Participants will be monitored for 12 months using a Fitbit and heart tests.
