Summary
This study tested a special inflatable belt worn around the belly that automatically tightens to help raise blood pressure when standing. It included 28 adults aged 40-80 with autonomic failure and disabling low blood pressure upon standing. The goal was to see if the device safely improves symptoms and how long people can stand or walk.
