Summary
This study tested whether abdominal acupuncture can help the digestive system recover more quickly after gynecologic laparoscopic surgery. Researchers measured how soon patients passed gas and had a bowel movement after surgery. The study included 80 women aged 18 to 65 who had a hysterectomy under general anesthesia.
