Summary
This study tested an experimental drug called ABBV-916 in people with early Alzheimer's disease. The goal was to see if it is safe and can slow down the disease. About 106 participants received either the drug or a placebo through an IV every 4 weeks for 6 months, with an option to continue for 2 more years. The study looked at side effects, how the drug moves in the body, and changes in brain amyloid plaques.
