New hope for Tough-to-Treat lymphoma: first human trial begins

Summary

This is the first human study of an experimental drug called ABBV-291 for adults with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma that has returned or not responded to at least two prior treatments. The main goals are to find a safe dose, see how the body processes the drug, and check for early signs that it might shrink tumors. About 165 participants worldwide will receive the drug by IV infusion over several years.
