New cancer drug enters first human trials for Tough-to-Treat tumors
NCT ID NCT03595059
Summary
This first-in-human study tested a new drug called ABBV-155, both alone and combined with standard chemotherapy, in adults with advanced solid tumors that had returned or stopped responding to prior treatments. The main goals were to find safe doses and see if the drug showed early signs of helping control the cancer. The study enrolled 168 participants with specific cancers like lung and breast cancer that had progressed despite other therapies.
