New hope for tough leukemia: daily drug trial opens

Summary

This study tests a daily intravenous drug called AB8939 in adults with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) that has returned or not responded to prior treatments. The main goal is to find a safe dose and see if the drug can shrink or control the cancer. About 78 participants will take part in this early-phase trial.
