Summary
This study tested a new drug called AB-729, given together with standard antiviral pills and short courses of interferon, in 43 adults with chronic hepatitis B. The goal was to see if the combination could safely lower virus markers in the blood and allow some participants to stop their daily antiviral pills. The study is complete, but results are not yet public.
