New implant aims to shrink deadly belly aneurysms and prevent rupture

Summary
This study tests whether a special implant called IMPEDE-FX RapidFill can help shrink abdominal aortic aneurysms (a bulging blood vessel in the belly) after standard surgery. About 180 adults with large aneurysms will receive the implant during their routine repair. The goal is to see if the implant reduces the aneurysm size and prevents complications, with fewer serious side effects.
