Plugging the leak: new device aims to seal dangerous aneurysm weak spots

NCT ID NCT04751578

Summary

This study is testing a special plug designed to fill the empty space (sac) left after a stent graft is placed to repair a dangerous bulge in the body's main artery (abdominal aortic aneurysm). The goal is to see if filling this space safely prevents leaks around the graft and helps the aneurysm shrink. It involves 15 participants who are already scheduled for the standard stent graft repair procedure.
