New plug aims to seal deadly aneurysm leaks
NCT ID NCT04227054
Summary
This study is testing the safety and effectiveness of two new types of medical plugs. The plugs are designed to fill the space around a stent graft placed to repair a dangerous bulge in the body's main artery (an abdominal aortic aneurysm). The goal is to help the area heal properly and prevent dangerous leaks, which can require more surgery.
