First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated Apr 26, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This early study tests a new device called the A3-Shield, which is implanted inside the body to stabilize small abdominal aortic aneurysms (a bulge in the main artery). The goal is to see if the implant is safe and can stop the aneurysm from growing or bursting. The study will include 12 adults with small aneurysms who are healthy enough for a catheter-based procedure. Participants will receive the implant and be followed with scans to check its effectiveness.
