Summary
This study tested a 9-month treatment for multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB) in 23 patients in Gabon. The goal was to see if this shorter regimen could cure the disease with fewer side effects than standard longer treatments. Participants were hospitalized for at least four months and monitored for cure and safety.
