First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study compares a special PET scan (68Ga-PSMA-11) with standard MRI to see which better detects prostate cancer in 100 newly diagnosed men who haven't had treatment yet. Participants will receive both scans before their scheduled prostate removal surgery, and results will be checked against the removed tissue. The goal is to find the most accurate imaging method to guide treatment decisions.
