First seen Jan 25, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study tests a new type of PET scan that uses a special tracer (68Ga-BCMA nanobody) to find multiple myeloma lesions in the body. Researchers will compare it to the standard FDG-PET scan to see if it detects more disease spots. The goal is to improve diagnosis, staging, and early detection of relapse for people with newly diagnosed or relapsed multiple myeloma.
