Can a 6-Meter walk test replace the standard one for MS patients?

NCT ID NCT04228328

First seen Feb 04, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study looked at whether a 6-minute walk test done in a short 6-meter hallway works as well as the usual 30-meter version for people with multiple sclerosis. Twenty-one adults with MS took part. The goal was to see if the shorter version is reliable and gives similar results, which could make testing easier in small spaces.
