NCT ID NCT06646003
First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This completed study looked at 341 Turkish patients with chronic stroke to measure how far they could walk in 6 minutes. The goal was to establish reference values for walking endurance and find out what factors influence walking distance. Participants were between 18 and 80 years old, had their first stroke at least 6 months ago, and could walk with minimal or no help.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
What this could lead to
If successful, this could help doctors better understand walking ability in chronic stroke patients and set benchmarks for recovery.
What could go wrong
This is an observational study, not a treatment trial. It won't directly improve health, and results may not apply to all stroke patients.
