5-Day radiation: a faster path to sarcoma surgery?

NCT ID NCT05776667

Summary

This study is testing a much shorter, 5-day radiation schedule given before surgery for soft tissue sarcoma in the arms or legs. The goal is to see if this approach is practical for patients and doctors, and if it works as well as the standard 5-6 week schedule. Researchers will also check if the shorter treatment helps more people get the care they need and will look for a blood test that might predict how well the tumor responds.
