Shoulder MRI showdown: can newer tech replace needle injections?

NCT ID NCT06043791

First seen May 04, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study was designed to see if a stronger MRI machine (3 Tesla) without contrast dye could detect shoulder labral tears as well as the current standard MRI with contrast dye. Researchers planned to enroll adults aged 18-65 who were likely to need shoulder surgery. However, the study was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled, so no results are available.
