New ultrasound tech aims to map kidneys in 3D
NCT ID NCT03841149
Summary
This study tested whether 3D ultrasound imaging could accurately measure the size of kidneys and kidney tumors. Researchers compared the 3D ultrasound measurements to the standard methods of CT and MRI scans in 53 adult patients. The goal was to see if this newer, often simpler imaging method could provide reliable size information for doctors managing kidney disease.
