Custom 3D-Printed jaw plates aim for more precise, faster surgeries
NCT ID NCT04635865
Summary
This study is testing whether custom-made, 3D-printed titanium plates lead to more accurate and efficient jaw reconstruction surgery than standard, manually-bent plates. It involves 92 patients who need surgery for jaw tumors or deformities. Researchers will compare surgical accuracy, operation time, and recovery between the two plate types.
