First seen Apr 23, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tested a new treatment that uses a 3D map to guide microwaves and destroy the main tumor in men with intermediate-risk prostate cancer. 76 men across Europe received the treatment, and researchers checked if the cancer was gone after 12 months. The goal was to control the disease while avoiding more aggressive treatments like full prostate removal or radiation.
