Scientists 3D-Print mini liver tumors to test drugs before giving them to patients
NCT ID NCT07437859
Summary
This study aims to see if tiny 3D-printed models of a patient's liver cancer can accurately predict how they will respond to chemotherapy drugs. Researchers will create these models from tumor tissue of 60 patients and test the same drugs used in their treatment. The goal is to improve personalized treatment by identifying the most effective drugs for each patient before they start therapy.
