Summary

This pilot study tested a drug called 3,4-diaminopyridine in people with severe botulism who needed a ventilator to breathe. The goal was to see if the drug could improve muscle strength and breathing. Only 3 people took part, and researchers measured changes in nerve and muscle function before and after giving the drug.
