Summary
This study tested a new vaccine that protects against 26 types of pneumococcal bacteria, which can cause pneumonia and other infections. About 450 people aged 2 months and older received the vaccine to check its safety and how well it triggers the immune system. The trial is complete, and results will show if this broader vaccine is safe and effective.
