New radioactive drug targets Hard-to-Treat prostate cancer

Summary
This early-stage study tests a new drug called 225Ac-pelgi for people with advanced prostate cancer that has spread and no longer responds to hormone therapy. The drug delivers a short-range radioactive payload directly to cancer cells, aiming to kill them while sparing nearby healthy tissue. About 232 participants will receive the drug intravenously in up to four 6-week cycles, and researchers will monitor safety, side effects, and signs of tumor shrinkage. The goal is to find the best dose for future studies.
