First seen Apr 18, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study tests whether a special PET scan using a radioactive tracer called 18F-DCFPyL can accurately show how prostate cancer responds to radiation therapy. About 130 adults with newly diagnosed, localized prostate cancer will get the scan before and after treatment. The goal is to improve how doctors measure treatment success.
