New antibiotic trial aims to tame Kids' belly infections

This study tests a new antibiotic called eravacycline in children aged 8 to 17 who have serious abdominal infections. The main goal is to see if the drug is safe and how the body processes it. About 35 children will take part, receiving the medicine through an IV.
