New lupus drug candidate enters human safety testing

This early-stage study tests a new drug called IASO-782 in 20 adults with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). The main goal is to see if the drug is safe and tolerable. Participants will receive either the drug or a placebo, and researchers will monitor for side effects.
