New shot aims to slow kidney damage in IgA patients

This study tests an experimental drug called RG002C0106 in 30 adults with IgA nephropathy, a kidney disease. The goal is to see if the drug safely reduces protein in the urine, a sign of kidney damage. Neither patients nor doctors know who gets the real drug or a placebo.
